Hi! I’m Sophia Shi, a freshman at Chamblee Charter High School in Atlanta, Georgia. Athletics has always been a big part of my life; I play SCCL soccer and recently joined varsity cross country. I’m also passionate about public speaking and debate, and as a teacher’s assistant for a youth leadership program, I helped teach young students public speaking. I've received speaker awards in debate tournaments and won a Toastmasters speaking competition. In addition, I was the recipient of both the Alonso and the Excellence in Economic History Awards for National History Day. In school, I have served as president of Beta club and as an officer for student government. Outside of school, I organize fundraisers for the Himalayan Cataract Project, coach soccer to kids in my community, and play viola for my local youth symphony. In my free time, you can find me hanging out with friends, watching movies with my family, or thrifting.
I joined Aerovate to give back to my community and provide students with a way to learn more about their interests. Education is crucial, and with the current situation, I hope to equip students with the resources they need to succeed!

Hey, my name is Nathan Jovanovic and I am a freshman at Chamblee Charter High School. In my free time I enjoy playing soccer, swimming and if I am lucky flying planes. I have won many awards for Science Olympiad including a 1st place in state for mystery architecture. Other clubs I participate in include Math team, German club, student government, and Beta club. Last year I was president of Beta club and vice president of student government. Some languages that I speak include German and Serbian. I am a member of the Junior Mensa Honor Society and help teach kindergarten Sunday School at my church.
I am excited to have joined Aerovate in order to help students succeed in whatever they are interested in and help them achieve their goals. Not only does Aerovate help achieve goals but it also shows how important education is in our society.

My name is Micah Burton, and I’m a freshman this year at Chamblee Charter High School in Atlanta, Georgia.Though I find most subjects interesting, my passion has always been math. From a young age, I was fascinated by math’s intricate relationships--both those within math and those between mathematical ideas and the real world--and excited to learn math as quickly as I could. I’ve also been competing in math competitions since I was in 3rd grade. In addition to various local competitions, I have since then competed at MathCounts, AMC 8, AMC 10, and AIME.Though my academic interests lie primarily in the realm of math, in my free time I am also an avid reader. I particularly enjoy fantasy and science fiction. I also have been playing cello as part of my school’s orchestra since I was in 4th grade. On the more athletic side of things, I’ve swam for years and have recently taken up running as well.
I am joining Aerovate to help students be able to flourish despite the current difficulties they must face as a result of the pandemic. I believe that education is vital and that especially under the present circumstances, it is incredibly important to provide ways to support students.
