Arizona Chapter President

Hello! I am Zhenyu Li, currently a senior student at Gilbert Classical Academy. I run the School Ambassadors club and Chinese Club. I have experience organizing multicultural events, and I also try my best to keep our school spirits high and positive. 

I try to give back to my community in my free time, I volunteer at local outreach center Paz De Cristo, and I worked through ASU’s Epics High program to build a project for that same outreach center. Through this project I found passion and joy in helping others, 

I have been volunteering with Aerovate since my Junior year, and I found the experience very rewarding and unique. Aerovate gave me the chance to use my love of music to help others. Aerovate is a great platform for those who want to give back to their community.

For this coming year, besides hosting our routine charitable Light of Music performances, and restoring our online tutoring program, we plan to work with the veteran community, to use music to help those who suffer from PTSD and other psychological illnesses. 

Arizona Chapter Vice President

My name is Alicia Bai and I am a junior at Hamilton High School. At Hamilton, I am the current Secretary for our Science Olympiad club as well as a member of our Orchestra Council.

 I try to involve myself in community service through the National Honors Society  and UNICEF, both clubs that provide volunteer events and promote student involvement. In my free time,  I pursue musical endeavors like the violin and piano. I have been playing piano for 11 years and violin for 8. I also participate in the Phoenix Youth Symphony’s top group, symphony, and will be returning to this organization for a sixth year.

I joined Aerovate to use my skills to benefit the community. Music has always been in my life from a very young age, and now that I am capable of playing music in both a solo and ensemble setting, I want to use these skills to spread joy.

Arizona Chapter Vice President

My name is Jenny Dong and I am a sophomore at Hamilton High School. I enjoy doing Speech and Debate and I have placed first in both local and national tournaments. In addition, I have played the violin for 6 years and I was a member of both Regionals and All-State Orchestra. I also founded the Hamilton Orchestra Outreach Committee as an organization dedicated to volunteering by playing music in senior citizen centers, hospitals, cafes and more. Crocheting and swimming are some of my other hobbies as well.

I joined Aerovate because I have always had a passion for volunteering, and Aerovate gives me an opportunity to use my music as a way to make our community better. I hope to encourage more people to volunteer and let them share their music with others.
